Here at WE Safety Inc. environmental sustainability is a large concern, It is our goal to work hand in hand with our customers to help provide a economical solution to the "wastedemic" we are currently causing. With the increase in usage of disposable PPE in the workplace there is a massive amount of "single use" recyclable products entering our landfills daily. The Zero Waste recycling program has been designed to help eradicate this problem and help to provide a cost effective, reliable & environmentally friendly option for companies whom share our goal of becoming as carbon neutral as possible.

THE PROBLEM

COLLECTION

USED MASKS AND RESPIRATORS ARE DISPOSED OF IN DESIGNATED RECYCLING BINS, THE CONTECTS ARE PICKED UP AND TRANSPORTED REGULARILY.

PROCESSING

THE CONTENTS ARE THEN SORTED, SHREDDED & PREPARED TO BE PROCESSED INTO MULTI-USE POLYPROPYLENE PELLETS.

REPURPOSING

FINALLY, THE POLYPROPYLENE PELLETS ARE REPURPOSED INTO NEW PRODUCTS (I.E BUILDING MATERIALS, TEXTILES & CONSUMABLES).

THE SOLUTION

MEDICAL PPE

IS USED AS A PROTECTIVE BARRIER AGAINST COVID-19 & OTHER PATHAGENS BOTH IN THE WORKPLACE AND IN PUBLIC SETTINGS

63,000 TONNES

OF JUST MEDICAL PPE WILL END UP IN CANADIAN LANDFILLS ON A YEARLY BASIS. THE PUBLIC USAGE WOULD ADD MASS AMOUNTS.

TO THE MOON...

THATS ENOUGH PPE TO GO TO THE MOON AND BACK 6.5 TIMES OR ABOUT 2.5 MILLION KM IF LAID OUT IN A STRAIGHT LINE.
